His story

From truck driver to leather repair technician

Before leather repair, German Khoroshilov was a truck driver. He wanted a change: work closer to home and more time with his family. Leather repair was the trade he decided to learn.

In April 2026 he came from Sacramento to San Diego to train with Alexander. He learned the repair and recoloring methods we use on every job and passed every test. Then he went back home and opened Leather Repair Lab, which now serves Sacramento, Stockton and the San Francisco area.

Where he is now

A mobile leather repair business in Northern California

German comes to the customer's home or business with everything needed for most repairs. He is based in Sacramento and also serves Stockton and the San Francisco area.

Most of his work is leather furniture: sofas, recliners and sagging cushions. He also repairs car interiors, restaurant booths and office seating, medical and dental chairs, boats and aircraft interiors.

He has taken the business in his own direction, too. German restores RV interiors, which is work we do not take on in San Diego.
