Alexander Evstafiev has taught the repair and recoloring methods we use in San Diego to technicians who now run their own businesses in other cities. Each of them has a page here: who they are, how they came to the trade, and the work they do now.
These are independent businesses. Each technician owns and operates their own company and sets their own prices, schedule and warranty.

Training happens in person in San Diego and ends with practical tests.
Tears, cuts and holes sub-patched from behind, filled in thin layers and finished to the surrounding grain.
Color mixed in daylight against the customer's own leather, with grain and sheen recreated so repairs blend in.
Cleaning, prepping and re-dyeing a whole piece that has faded or worn through, then sealing it.
